Ils lui inventent une pensée qu'il n'a pas et des propos qu'il n'a jamais tenu, sur la base d’un clip, simplement pour nourrir leur indignation sur commande

C’est tellement un comportement de lâche et ils le savent mais pour eux tous les moyens sont bons pour faire valoir leur discours pour nous diviser. C’est vraiment leur spéciale. Un shéma qu’ils répètent en boucle quand ils voient la moindre brèche. Ils m’ont fait le même traitement y’a à peu près 2 ans en disant que je me réjouissais des morts du Bataclan et que je souhaitais encore plus de mort dans les prochains attentats à venir (????) alors que je ne prône que l’amour et ne souhaite même pas faire de mal à une mouche

I was born in 1961 too.
And this version of the past is a myth.

Kids did have food allergies we just didn’t have the science to name them.
I lost a brother before he was two because medicine didn’t yet understand what allergy killed him.

Trans kids didn’t “not exist.���
They hid. They were shamed. Many never survived adolescence.

Violence didn’t start with social media.
Bullying, racism, misogyny, and abuse were simply normalized and ignored.

Families didn’t stay together because things were better
they stayed together because women and children had fewer choices.

And no, it wasn’t just “Merry Christmas.”
We said Happy Holidays. Season’s Greetings. Yuletide.
Nobody lost their mind. Nobody felt threatened. We just… lived.

I rode buses and subways too
they weren’t magically safer.
We just didn’t talk about what happened on them.

What really changed wasn’t people.
It was visibility.

Data replaced denial.
Voices replaced silence.
And accountability replaced nostalgia.

The past wasn’t safer.
It was quieter because suffering had nowhere to go.

I don’t want a time machine.
I want a future where we stop confusing silence with peace.

Stop being such a boomer.

why did this make me so happy i teared up a little? NOT A LOT. a little.
10 years ago i didn’t even really understand what a #1 album meant, but then ever since blurryface i kind of really wanted it again, but never got it.
then i stopped wanting it and just wrote an album for you. for us.
and that’s when you guys showed up bigger than ever. you did this. buying vinyl, or a box set, or going to listening events, or streaming and telling other people. thank you so much.
this is the most proud i’ve ever been to be a part of this band.
if you only knew how many industry people are confused right now.

I can’t believe the amount of Deadpool & Wolvie costumes last night. You’ll never know what that’s like if you’re me. I’m five years old, staring out the window at some impossible future. People made mini movies and wore some of the best suits I’ve ever seen. Quoting lines, and performing stunts. Little KidPools to GeezerPools… I’m not aloof or cool about stuff like this — No part of me takes it for granted or feels entitled to it. It’s like having a dream come true — but a dream you didn’t know you were dreaming of.
