On some days, i find myself fighting to remain my authentic self because this world will test you.
If i act as the world demands, i will soon become an angry, unforgiving, and vindictive woman. My soul leans on Jehovah.
I cried today because I just want to experience a season of life where I'm not always recovering from something. It feels like there's always an ugly truth I'm having to confront, a belief I'm having to unlearn, more work to be done. It's exhausting and lonely. And yeah, I get that life isn't fair and that you have to just keep going. But i keep being resilient when what I'd really like is relief.
as u get older, u realize that you’re not always right & there’s so many things u could’ve handled differently, so many situations where u could’ve been nicer and all u can really do is forgive yourself & let ur mistakes make u a better person.
what a beautiful gift it is to hit rock bottom. to be striped of any and all pride, ego, and false responsibility. to be left with nothing but possibility. a chance to climb upwards and make anew what once seemed impossible. every man, at one point in his life, could benefit from the raw, pure, and radically humbling experience of being left with nothing to realize that everything is possible.
Lol, it's crazy how, when people believe their opinion or knowledge about a topic is right, you're tagged difficult for not affirming, since you also have your own opinion, you believe to be the right thing. Lol, should i also tag you difficult for not being accepting of mine.

Everytime I’m nice to a man, they think it’s cause I’m interested in them and they begin to bring nonsense your way. It’s why I prefer the tag “ you always look mean and difficult to approach”.
Keep your problems smaller than your life. A flat tire is a flat tire. A bad meeting is a bad meeting. A canceled flight is just an extra two hours. These things become catastrophes when you let them. But they stay manageable when you remember the depth of your real life- the people you love, the work you care about, the beautiful years still ahead. Zoom out. Fit your reaction to the size of the problem.
Stop trying to become someone nobody could criticize. That person doesn't exist. Jesus got criticized. Some people dislike puppies. You are not going to be the first universally approved human. Save yourself the fucking effort.
