DGTS, CBIC Participates in #NationalTechnologyDay 2026 Celebrations at IIG, Navi Mumbai
National Technology Day is observed annually on 11 May to commemorate India’s major scientific and technological achievements, including the Pokhran-II nuclear tests and the maiden flight of the Hansa-3 aircraft in 1998.
The programme was organised by the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (@IigDst), an autonomous research institution under @IndiaDST.
The event reflected the importance of collaboration between scientific institutions and governance organisations in promoting innovation, knowledge-sharing, and technology-driven inclusive national development.

@IigDst's Alibag Magnetic Observatory welcomed Prof. Abhay Karandikar @karandi65, Secretary, DST, for a visit to the historic observatory facility. He explored decade old observatory and its contributions to global geomagnetism.
