Nation-building is strengthened when knowledge is shared, perspectives are exchanged, and leaders come together with a common purpose. It was a delight to interact with the distinguished delegation of 43 senior military officers from 29 countries, from the National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, during their Foreign Officer Study Tour (FOST) 2026 at IIM Indore.

I shared how, at IIM Indore, we believe leadership is nurtured through contextual learning, inclusivity, and a deep sense of responsibility. In a rapidly evolving world, it is imperative to develop leaders who create impact not only within organizations but also across society through ethical decision-making, empathy, and a sense of purpose.

IIM Indore has always valued its association with the defence forces, and we remain committed to sharing knowledge, learning from one another, and contributing to stronger institutions, enduring partnerships, and the larger mission of nation-building.
