MY FIRST 20K PAYOUT!!!🔥
There were times I questioned if I’d ever reach this point. This is a huge milestone for me personally….
Countless blown accounts, major setbacks and outside doubts but despite all of that, I still ended up hitting this goal.
Time to keep stacking✍️
Too many people in the DMs currently asking for advice so here’s some food for thought on what helped me achieve profitability:
1. Never get involved in the bullshit in this industry. Keep your head down and focus on content that’s going to make you a better trader. So many unprofitable traders are too busy being keyboard warriors instead of focusing on learning from the same people they’re nitpicking.
2. This ties into the first point: Learn from the lowkey traders. I know it sounds biased but this was honestly my strategy when I didn’t know shit. Forget learning from TJR or these other big “traders” with an insane following. There’s only a handful I genuinely respect: Kane, David, Gene, & ICT (old ICT content). The rest is mediocre.
3. If you want to be in this game for the long run, learn to trade discretionary. I’ll forever stand on this: Discretionary > Mechanical. Markets are constantly evolving and a mechanical model that works today might not work tomorrow. As a discretionary trader, you have the ability to adapt to changing market conditions without being tied down to a fixed set of rules. The advantage I’ll give mechanical traders is that they might reach profitability quicker because of the structure their models provide but I believe discretion gives you an edge when it comes to long-term adaptability. (This is obviously debatable but I strongly favor discretionary trading.)
4. The fastest way to profitability is slowing down. Sounds counterintuitive but that’s the game of trading. You don’t know how long it’s going to take you to become profitable or hit the goals you’ve set for yourself. Nobody does. Set your goals, focus on the process and stop worrying about how long it’s taking. I promise you from personal experience, putting a timestamp on your success will only make it 10x harder to reach. Process over everything in trading so practice focusing on it.
These obviously aren’t the only things needed to be successful but they’ve helped me tremendously, so hopefully they can help one of you too. Take whatever you can from this and thank you guys for the 1K followers!🫶
Back on track and November smells like MAX ALLOCATION with @tradeifyforex .
This week I took some swing trades across 3x 100K phase two challenges with them and all accounts are near breakeven level or in profit.
My goal for the following weeks is to focus on A+ setups and reach 300K in funding with them.
If that happens this will be my 2nd firm with whom I have 300K in funding besides FTMO.
If you'd like to try them the 50% discount will be available until Sunday with code "TIM".
Wish you all a blessed weekend !
@Niko_Trades@fundingpips If I hit a base hit and want to wait for payout I can’t until I meet that requirement. Take this trade for example: if this was funded I would’ve been up 8.6k off the first trade but because of that requirement I have to trade more to meet it which could lead to tilt
This is insane I accidentally forgot to put a TP and price blew past the 60% profit concentration rule for my @fundingpips flex account🥲
I got it funded but I don’t want to be subjected to the 3 day minimum profit rule🤦♂️
@syphermr7@fundingpips I bought this account a day before the rules changed so I’m still subjected to it. What’s worse is I hit the TP for phase 2 of the new flex account profit target with this trade🤣
How I hit to 6-FIGURES in profits as a 24 year old PROP FIRM TRADER:
1) master a profitable & low RRR day trading strategy
2) risk 1.5% on challenges
3) risk 1% on funded and aim for 3% payouts
4) reinvest almost all profits into more funding
5) scale up to $2M in funding
6) never trade more than 30% of your total funding at once
7) keep your mouth shut and stay humble
