@Lloydbhudda Hugo broos is not saying anything any other coach has never said. Arrogant coaches sometimes say things like this. Itโs not new. Watch sports interviews. Donโt make this about race.
@Charity_Cheyeza@michelle_mystiq Or arrest the illegal immigrants and deport them. Why shift the responsibility to South Africans citizens. Close borders. Deport. Strict border control. Investigate home affairs about fraudulent IDs
@Thembamic100@moreki_mo Oh wow. How interesting. I didnโt know that. For my benefit, which were the other 5 universities that merged in 2005? Forgive me Iโm young
@bocasho_braaf Thank you so much for letting me know the stats. I would've thought the ratio of govt employees to TOTAL population of the country would be higher. As the quick google search indicates. Not sure what this compares like to the other Scandanavian countries
@Sthe_Dups@Nolwazii_K Urbanisation, increased middle class with access better schools etc are some of the reasons. Families are based in rural areas while parents work in cities makes it difficult for children to learn other languages. Nannies are mostly foreign so English becomes the main language
@Sthe_Dups@Nolwazii_K I agree. We learnt how to code switch out of necessity. Being exposed to multiple environments and cultures made us adapt.
Itโs unfortunate that our exposure to black communities has gone down, for multiple reasons that are not only the parents fault
@jxnne_2@PortiaMoemedi I wasnโt twisting your words, hence the question I asked.
I canโt comment on her being performative because we all donโt know the real truth. Social media makes things look glosssy on the outside when they are actually not. The opposite is also true
@jxnne_2@PortiaMoemedi I agree, using poverty for engagements can be weird if thatโs not your real life.
However, are you implying that people living in shacks are not clean? Cleanliness and keeping good basic hygiene is a quality we all possess regardless of whether you live in a shack or not
@KarinaAsianGirl@Heal_within96 Iโm South African and I grew up around Indians. The relationship Indians had with other dark skinned Indians was always weird. They were made fun of. Which also translated to black people having poor race relations with Indians. Even though we faced the same struggles
@KarinaAsianGirl@Heal_within96 You may be on the dark tan side of the spectrum as a South Asian and be treated poorly. Now imagine how they treat other dark skinned (read black) people when they have internalised antiblackness?
@KarinaAsianGirl@Heal_within96 The reasons mentioned in the video impact South Asians perspective of themselves as well as other much darker people in the world
@PaulLombar87434@RyanCoetzee While rugby has made great progress in diversity and support structures thereโs still so much more that needs to be done. The structures and systems are there. They need to be rolled out to all demographics, far and wide
@PaulLombar87434@RyanCoetzee Redress needs to happen at all levels. Otherwise youโve done nothing, the poor will remain poor. This can never be the goal. The poor need to be empowered so they can eventually empower themselves. You cannot โmay the best man winโ after centuries of oppression of one demographic
