Meet Chiko Bavon Kirenga. He survived the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda – what he witnessed, and what he experienced, was horrific. I sat down with Chiko to hear his story today, and to reaffirm our government’s commitment to ensuring such atrocities never happen again.
It was hate speech and propaganda that incited violence against the Tutsi, and today we continue to see hate speech propagated online. I promise to use my platform to say no to hate speech and support reconciliation. #NeverAgain
The RWW team joins all rwandans especially the survivors in commemorating for the 29th time, the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Your life has been a blessing to many, I met a lady last week & she asked me "Are you the son of Dr.Naasson ?" I said Yes, she just looked at me and hugged me without saying a word..that gesture showed me how much my dad counted for her
Most times its not what happens to you, its actually how you react that helps you manage the situation. Many times we face things we have NO control about, but everyday is a day to learn how to accept things we can't change and teach ourselves to remain calm in such situations.
Most of us are not proud of our past decisions/behaviors. But if you want to make a difference, you have to learn to forgive yourself. Accept your past, take full responsibility and start a fresh. Yes it might be used against you but once you are healed. You won't be offended.
