Working 7–8 hours a day only to come home with a few hours left for yourself. Time that also has to cover dinner, chores, and getting ready for the next day, feels deeply wrong. It’s a sad way to spend most of your life.
One of the most insane things to me is how we’ve normalized working 40 hours/5 days a week. Only 8 days off a month is fucking criminal wtf are we doing
Your job is important but, so are your workouts, your lunch breaks, vacation days, hobbies, the people waiting for you when you get home.
Works pays for your life. It isn't supposed to replace it.
