Hard to watch.
Cam Young waited 2 hours to have his heart broken by Ryan Fox’s heroics on 18.
I know it’s easy to say “Cam’s time will come”. But it’s never that easy. Many guys have gotten close and never won a major.
That said, Cam’s time will come.

Deal on.
Pedri's father dreamt of being a pro goalkeeper, but he had to give it up to take over the family restaurant.
Pedri honors his dad by taking a PK against him after every title. He brought him on the field to continue the tradition after the World Cup.

Scottie Scheffler says they didn’t find his ball on 17 and he actually asked people to stop searching for it:
“The rules official said it landed just barely left of the grandstand thing. I don't know what you call that, like a sponsor area or something. And Teddy had a beat right on where it was coming down. So when we get up there, it's past the fence that marks the TIO, so he said anything that's in there is it part of the TIO. So then we said -- we tried to figure it out. I said, if I find it, does that help me; can I drop it -- since that would be about 50 yards closer to the hole. He said, yes, you can then use that spot, but you might have to go to the other side of the TIO, which I didn't know exactly where that would be, and that's not a great angle coming across there.
“So decided to stop the search and go back and drop it doing point-of-entry TIO relief. Actually I did that once this year during the Byron as well. Not something I'm proud of but I was familiar with.”
He went on to say:
“I stopped them. They had guys pointing from up there, like it landed right here, and I just kind of hauled up there, and I was like, guys, get out of there, stop, do not find the ball. Fortunately it was my security guy that I've had for a few years here. His name is Brucey. And then Woody was up there as well. So both those guys are pretty -- I know them quite well, so when I said, please don't look for the ball, they got out of there.”

French prospect Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada is in Omaha for a visit, which begins tomorrow, source says. Feel really, really good about the Jays’ chances with the 19-year-old guard, a target for months.
French guard Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada has officially made it to Omaha where he'll be playing for Creighton next season.
The 6-3 19-year from France is a really fun long-term guard prospect in France's 2006 generation. The Nancy guard has a +8 wingspan relative to his height and played a key role off the bench in the LNB averaging 6.4 PPG in just 13 MPG. Then Dada, had a strong Eurocamp this summer averaging 15.5 PPG.
A really solid defensive prospect with nice twitch, handle and PNR playmaking but needs to improve his shooting moving forward.
Lookahead to the 2027 men's major venues:
🌺 Augusta National (The Masters)
⭐️ PGA Frisco Fields Ranch East (PGA Championship)
🌊 Pebble Beach (U.S. Open)
🏴 St. Andrews Old Course (The Open)
Which are you looking forward to the most?
Zlatan Ibrahimović had never worked a single day of television before this summer. Fox handed him the biggest World Cup ever staged, America started comparing him to Charles Barkley within a week, and after a month and a half he retired from broadcasting on live air.
Understand how rare that asset is. Networks spend decades trying to manufacture one breakout studio personality. TNT built a 25-year franchise around Barkley. ESPN has burned nine figures on ex-athletes who never learned to talk. Fox found a natural on the first try, a 44-year-old with zero reps who made pregame shows must-watch in a country that barely follows him.
Then he gave it back.
Zlatan has run this play his entire career. Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, PSG, United, Milan. Ten clubs, 573 goals, 34 trophies, and an exit at nearly every peak. The scarcity is the product. A pundit who shows up every Saturday for 20 years becomes furniture. A pundit who appears once, dominates, and vanishes becomes a legend you quote for a decade.
The next network that wants him now has to pay for a comeback, which is a completely different price than a contract renewal.
Barkley has announced his retirement from TV more times than anyone can count and still shows up every Thursday. Zlatan said it once, thanked the desk by name, and walked.
Every broadcaster talks about leaving on top. Zlatan did it before the confetti was swept.
