Operation successful. In recovery but doing very well so far.

Back into hospital on Monday for more surgery — a Hartmann’s reversal after the lifesaving op I had at Christmas. Hoping all goes well and I’ll be back watching #itfc and visiting @WolseyWriters soon 💙

@tiscooperwoman Best wishes to your sister. 💙 I had similar at Christmas. It's a tough fight but the pain will lessen and she will learn to live with the stoma.

Two major operations in May/June and I thought that was it for 2024. But no, I fell ill on Christmas Day and have had another. A new mountain to climb but we've started already and I'm going home today after a couple of weeks care from @ESNEFT. See you all in brighter times
