Thoughts on the new Siri AI present in iOS 27 DB1
- gorgeous interface when summoning Siri
- seems a bit slower than Gemini and ChatGPT, but as capable in its responses so far
- is not as talkative nor is conversational. You can interrupt it, but it takes A LOT of screaming at
- when interrupting, if you can manage to, Siri sometimes will listen and answer your next prompt or just hang in silence
- some weird pronunciations, said “states” as “stits” in a response to a question about a dog breed
@JoannaStern They had a whole slew of improvements flash on the screen in the beginning but I’m on 27 beta 1 and the typing experience seems improved thus far…
@paytondev Everyone has usage limits, especially on free tiers. Apple did say iCloud + subscribers will get higher usage limits but didn’t say what specific plans yet. Guessing everything except $0.99 one lol
@kinglchase95 They’ve really stepped up their game. I bought a 25 Kia Soul thinking meh it’s A to B with a good warranty but actually have loved it. Obviously there are better options, but the K4 Hatch wasn’t out and I didn’t like the old Seltos so that’s where I landed at the time. lol
@Blaze99451John@emkenobi I was about to say this! Every single person I’ve encountered that has ever even known the term “heteroflexible” just mean they were into threesomes with a female as the center but no gay stuff LOL. He’s very likely NOT bisexual.
@milenialmentor Veterinarians and associated staff. They not only have the burden of figuring out problems and fixing them with a patient that can't communicate, but they also euthanize animals.
@justabdulraouf “As part of our transition to Google Health, we’ll also consolidate our health and fitness offerings. We’ll invite Google Fit users to migrate their data into Google Health app later this year.”
@techdroider In the US at least, try activating a Vivo on an American MNO and it will never work. They have whitelists of devices and if you aren’t using one, the network blocks it.
