@riddhi_builds The fact that people are arguing against this is insane. Of course look into cases and get objective fact and truth, but rape is no one else's fault except the rapist. Because here's an idea, just don't rape people
@MatCland@noctilucentfps@femmelore_ Consent to sex isn't consent to pregnancy, and they're allowed to determine if they want to carry that pregnancy. Forcing a woman to carry a pregnancy they don't want increases risk of other shit too, like child abuse and unwanted kids in the foster system.
@MatCland@noctilucentfps@femmelore_ The issue is abortions are going to happen regardless. Making them illegal is just fucking stupid because statistics don't lie. Wanna stop abortion? Legalize it. This isn't women not taking responsibility, every woman knows a potential consequence of sex is pregnancy.
@noctilucentfps@femmelore_ Genuinely wtf did you mean by this, because all I saw in comments were dudes defending not getting vasectomies, not even talking about the reason why some women feel that way in the first place
@CallMe_Zyroo Once you start labeling every man as a rapist, it dilutes what rape is. Equating a 19 year old who slept with a 16 year old who thought she was 18, under the same umbrella as a guy who assaulted a woman in her apartment without consent, reduces the severity of actual rape
@Aduradara61049 He has to be because no woman could or would fuck the world up THIS bad. Only a crazy deranged man with a small dick complex would make the world this fucked up
@discod011y It doesn't equate to consent to pregnancy, but it comes with the understanding that pregnancy is a possibility, regardless how much protection you use. It's also why I think abortion should be legal. It reduces the abortion rate and just makes it safe and medically sterile
@bite2bone I understand the nuance behind it. We can't just legalize it without there being insane penalties and consequences. It's just questioning logistical consistency
