@TramsLondon Unless I'm mistaken and reading it incorrectly. It's at Belgrave walk and I presume other stops. There is now an oyster card weekly cap on bus and tram. https://t.co/BOcfQtbe3c.
@TramsLondon Can you change your posters about contactless capping. The poster says it doesn't apply to oyster https://t.co/RPPIbdMdWK's out of date now that you can use oyster card capping on the bus and tram.
@SW_Help Can you confirm which train service was In front and delayed the 6.01 Hampton Wick to waterloo train. All trains in the last hour were within 4 minutes of scheduled time
@GWRHelp Please can you thank the customer service agent at Paddington last night. Delayed on the train due to flooding at Dawlish missed connecting service but dealt with politely and efficiently in a cab within 15 mins. Thank you
@SW_Help finally on the move trying to get from Hampton Wick to Wimbledon. What is the point of the live departure board from national rail and yourself if can go from a minute delay to waiting 45 minutes whilst at the station?
@Gayhantsrob @SW_Help@swtrains_watch The legality should be questioned on authorised staff. Rail bylaws
23.1 The authorised person asking for details under Byelaw 23(1) shall state the nature of the breach of any of these Byelaws. As they aren't sufficiently trained in the bylaws they can't be authorised staff
@SW_Help is it to much to ask for a response of a ticket checker which bylaw states it's compulsory to show them. NC 23.2 they must state the offence. How can they do that without sufficient training?
@LouiseBolland@swtrains_watch @PieterDutchCan7 @SW_Help@SW_Railway Ted to Waterloo us overrun by illinformed scruffy agency powerless ticket checkers. Get some real staff on board trains providing customer service
@SW_Help @PieterDutchCan7 What training do the ticket checkers have on the bylaws. The ticket checkers should be providing customer service rather than rude & uninformed service theyre currently providing. What knowledge do they have on the bylaws.23.2 states authorized person should state breach occurred.
@SW_Help Please confirm which bylaw ticket checkers are using to check https://t.co/mvCV7eUQ2u T&C's 18.1 https://t.co/sUwOkMnXuj must show &, if asked to do so by the staff of a Train Company, hand over for inspection. How are they authorised to check tickets?
@SW_Help As the ticket checkers don't know the bylaws how can they act upon the bylaws.(iv)In exercising powers conferred by Byelaws 24(2)(i) & 24(2)(ii) the authorised person shall state the nature of the breach of any of these Byelaws in general terms prior to exercising the power
As you have just started 18.1 of NC t&c. These ticket checkers are agency staff. Employed by company nothing to do with trains so how can they be authorised to check tickets?
@sassy_social Hi, as stated our plain clothes inspectors do have ID and are able to carry out inspections. The National Rail Conditions Of Travel state "You must show and, if asked to do so by the staff of a Train Company, hand over for inspection your Ticket and any Railcard, 1/3
@SW_Help Happy to produce valid ticket for anyone authorized commercial guards and guards on trains, btp etc to do so. As these ticket checkers aren't members of staff of a railway company as asked is it compulsory to produce a ticket?

These ticket checkers aren't staff of a train company
@SW_Help @cdkeivit @swtrains_watch Can swr make it clear of the point of the ticket checkers? Signs and posters on platforms and trains. All ticket checkers should be in full uniform and accompanied by the guard - who has actual right to check validity of tickets.
@SW_Help@AshValeCommuter@Dannyholland912 On the terms and conditions. โข You must look after your Ticket and present it for inspection when asked by a member of
rail staff.
These ticket checkers are not railway staff so how can the ticket checking process be a legal requirement?
