Who says there’s no power in social media?
I made the complaint here in the morning — by afternoon, they resumed work.
After over 2 weeks of silence.
The engineers are back on site.
But here’s my question:
Must people always be dragged before they do the job they’re paid to do?
Anyway, kudos to Peter Mbah.
But there’s still a lot of work to be done around that Trans Ekulu axis.
Not just there ooo
Dear Peter Mbah,
Some contractors you awarded contracts to, especially in the New GRA Trans-Ekulu axis, are not taking their work seriously.
This morning, while driving my kids to school, I saw a woman fall into a gutter with her child due to the poor road conditions.
Although the drainage system on this road has been completed, the contractors have abandoned the project for two weeks for unknown reasons. No tracktor on site to show okay we are about to do something.
In early May, I asked a site worker when the road would be completed, and he said, quoting, “on or before May 30th.” Now, in June, there is no bulldozer in sight.
Most residents in this area can no longer park their cars in their homes.
The painful part is that before the rain started like this they could have done something to at least enable people use the road. Now see
The drainage was finished two weeks ago. Please take action to ensure the road is completed for motorists’ access.

@DanNwomeh Renovate Enugu law school but then pay lawyers under the state near minimum wage.
Some lawyers at Enugu State Multi Door Court earn 40k, and despite many protestations, nothing is being done about it.

This is disgraceful and dangerous ethnic profiling. A 65 year-old man should be calling for peace, unity and a reduction of tension, not fanning the embers of discord. I have reported this tweet.
@Chxta@adekpemo It's unfortunate, but there is no other option. The concentration of every Nigerian industry in Lagos must be broken up, especially if it is dominated by members of the Igbo ethnic group. That, in my opinion, should be the first steps.
