The F-15E Strike Eagle is not a “standard” Eagle. The F-15A and F-15C are single seat variants of the Eagle. The “B” and “D” are also 2 seat variants of the Eagle. Don’t confuse the Strike Eagle with the Eagle. They are different platforms. The Eagle was designed as an air superiority fighter whereas the Strike Eagle was designed as a multirole aircraft.
