Can’t begin to think how excited my old man would have been today. Little throwback in his honour at a difficult time of year with Father’s Day coming up, his birthday along with the anniversary of his death Monday, here’s hoping for a #Scotland win to have plenty to smile about
This is an image from @I_W_M of British Commandos on a landing craft approaching Sword Beach on D-Day, 6th June 1944. 82 years ago today.
War is a horrific thing; these men left their loved ones to enter its hellish cauldron. Some never returned. We remember their immense bravery and sacrifices to defeat fascism so that they should never be necessary again.
I’ll tell you one thing.
I would LOVE IT if he beats that horrible, cruel bastard of a disease. Love it.
Thoughts and prayers to a man that, despite being dead against our club as a player and a manager, I could never quite bring myself to dislike.
“This season has seen Hearts capture the imagination of football fans, not only in Scotland, but the world over. We pay tribute to Derek McInnes, his staff, the first team and the supporters, who have done the club proud this season. None of them deserved the disgraceful scenes that unfolded.”
Heart of Midlothian is on the verge of breaking four decades of dominance by Celtic and Rangers with one of the most improbable campaigns Scottish soccer has ever seen. https://t.co/8YMad6sGgI
I can’t get over this Hearts drama.
That decision could go down as the worst ever in the history of football.

The ref has shit himself. That is corruption at its best.
Seriously that is never a handball at Fir Park. The boy headed it 20 yards. The ref takes one look after VAR calls him over. Embarrassing for Scottish football.

There is no honour high enough that can be given to this man so Australians need to remember his face and name so that wherever he goes in for the rest of his life, everyone can congratulate and thank him for being a hero
The NHS will care for over a million people today.
With 10% less staff than it needs, whilst battling an emergency care crisis, and managing patients with COVID and flu.
Huge thanks to all the NHS staff who continue to fight against unrelenting pressures.
