I just got laid off from Meta.
Obviously it sucks to lose the income. But between the never-ending layoffs, stack ranking, etc., I'm good. Pretty convinced that when I look back at this moment a few years into the future, I'll be grateful it happened.
There's a lot I want to say here, but I'll save that for another day. Either way it's been a privilege to have been a part of the ride. On to the next adventure.
@tobyasky@TouyemLAS Nothing wonderful about Pep's team other than Messi. That was it. He had a player who was way above everyone else. Granted they played a good brand of football.
Errm just throw the sporting directors away. It's the same players who won 2 trophies. They sacked a winning coach simply because they want control and a coach who is a yes man. They have destroyed the progress of the 18 months before January.
If this Board of Directors are sensible, they wouldn’t rush to announce a new permanent manager yet.
This season is almost done, just ride the remaining matches with the assistant manager and get a proper manager, not all these young public speakers!!!!
@sportsdokitor@don_pet Our squad is inferior to Arsenal. The strategy is now different so beating strong sides would be few and far between. We are focused on young player trading and the owners are happy with a top 4 finish and the occasional silverware.
@sportsdokitor Are they generating adequate revenue? What is the state of their finances? Papilo won't pay them from his pocket. Football clubs in Nigeria are hardly viable. They are most times loss making. We need to overhaul the entire structure and operations - Federation,League,Non-league.
