Our Berkeley Earth temperature report for June is out! We find that it was the warmest June on record by a large margin, beating the previous (2022) record by 0.18C.

Thresher shark caught by Dutch shrimp trawler:

1) this is not a tropical species, it is frequently found in the North sea (but rarely in Dutch part)

2) this catch is legal, targeted fishing is prohibited but sale of bycatch allowed within EU.
