13-year-old Saif suffered a life-changing injury almost one year ago, when he and his uncle were shelled by an Israeli tank in Gaza.
All he wants is to receive treatment so that he can go swimming in the sea once again.
Saif is one of a million children living in Gaza. He tells us his story.
I was holding her hand when she took her last breath on 3 June 2026. Kanya King CBE. Founder of MOBO. My dearest best friend and soulmate of almost thirty years.
She built everything from nothing, for the love of her people. I have lost my person.
Rest in power, Kanya.

My mom is close friends with his wife. He used to pick us up from Islamic school with his kids. He was a kind man. He was very well known in the San Diego Muslim community. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
The promise of the digital world was that things would last. But that’s been proven to be a big lie. Entire archives are deleted in the blink of an eye each day.

I’ve been thinking this all day long.
A Syrian man and his 12 year old daughter were riding on a motorcycle in southern Lebanon when an Israeli drone strike took the dad out.
His daughter made it 100 yards & another drone came for her.

Nine years ago this month, I stood against Catherine West in a safe Labour seat as the Women’s Equality Party candidate because I believed women deserved better.
What followed was hell. I received death threats. Labour members came to hustings simply to scream at me and demand to know why I had dared to stand. Some of West’s friends in the media joined in. I forced myself to campaign every day while fearing for my safety.
After she won, Catherine West blocked me.
So the idea that she now wants to be Prime Minister is laughable. Leadership is about character, and based on my experience, she has none.
Sky News omitting critical information by failing to mention in the bulletin that the former synagogue was bought in February this year by a local community Muslim group planning to convert it into a mosque.
