Brandon, Jack Smith did not lie to Congress. You and Gym are deliberately conflating two completely different things and hoping people don’t know the difference.

He was asked whether the telephone toll records obtained by subpoena contained the contents of calls or text messages. They do not. Toll records are metadata, phone numbers, dates, times, and duration. His answer was accurate.

The text messages you’re now talking about came from a completely different source, White House records held by the National Archives, not the toll record subpoenas. You don’t get to ask one question, get a truthful answer, then months later pretend you asked a different question and scream, “He lied to Congress.”

And let’s be honest. The only reason you’re thanking the convicted felon is because without his approval, nobody would know who the hell you are. You’re just another member of Congress desperately trying to stay in his good graces by parroting a story that isn’t true. Pathetic.

Bill, you took over as acting DNI on June 19. In just 37 days, you conducted four rounds of layoffs at an agency responsible for coordinating the work of 18 intelligence organizations.

There is nothing “thoughtful” or “measured” about that pace. You arrived with no intelligence or national security experience, reportedly requested a list of the entire workforce before you had even officially started, and immediately began pursuing hundreds of dismissals. You have not publicly identified the positions eliminated, explained the criteria used, disclosed the total number of employees affected, or provided any assessment of how these cuts affect counterterrorism, counterintelligence, cybersecurity, or intelligence coordination.

Congressional intelligence leaders warned you against making sweeping personnel changes while temporarily occupying a position that normally requires Senate confirmation. You ignored them and started firing career intelligence professionals almost immediately.

Calling your own actions “smart,” “careful,” and “measured” is not evidence that they were. Four rounds of firings in 37 days by an acting director with no intelligence experience is a politically ordered purge carried out as quickly as possible, by someone that has no idea what the consequences of his actions are, and doesn't care.

@SenJkennedy Foghorn, if you want people to show who they are when they register to vote, then introduce a bill that actually requires proof of identity. The SAVE America Act doesn’t do that. It requires documentary proof of citizenship. A standard REAL ID isn’t enough in almost every state because it doesn’t indicate citizenship. Unless someone lives in one of the few states that issues an Enhanced Driver’s License showing citizenship, they’ll need additional documents like a passport or a certified birth certificate.

We already have one Election Day. haven't you read the constitution? Federal law sets a single Election Day for federal elections. Counting ballots after Election Day doesn’t change that. It simply allows election officials to count every legally cast ballot under state law. Accuracy is more important than rushing to a result. I’d rather have the correct outcome than an artificially early one.

If your goal is voter ID, write a voter ID bill. Don’t call a proof-of-citizenship bill a voter ID bill. Those are two different things.

The save act is a voter suppression bill.

Joe Biden isn’t the first president without a presidential library. His library is already being planned in Delaware, and a fundraising board has been in place for months.

Is fundraising more challenging than it was for some former presidents? Apparently so. But “no one is donating a dime” is something you made up.

And your attempt to connect presidential library fundraising to the 81 million votes he received is nonsense. Presidential libraries are funded by private donors years after a president leaves office. They have absolutely nothing to do with whether someone legitimately won an election.

You punished the Associated Press by excluding its reporters from the Oval Office and Air Force One because you disliked its editorial language, until a federal judge ordered the White House to restore its access. Your administration pushed reporters out of Pentagon workspaces, imposed restrictions that threatened their credentials for seeking information not specifically approved, and restricted journalists’ access inside the White House.

You repeatedly demanded that television networks remove comedians and programs you dislike, threatened broadcasters’ licenses, celebrated Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension, and used your handpicked FCC chairman to pressure stations carrying his show.

Your Justice Department subpoenaed New York Times reporters, sought phone records belonging to journalists and their relatives, and tried to identify confidential sources after the Times reported on security problems involving your $400 million Qatari jet. The government withdrew the subpoenas only after a federal judge exposed its legal failures.

And spare us the lecture about rejecting political violence. On your first day back in office, you granted clemency to more than 1,500 January 6 defendants, including people convicted of beating police officers with poles, spraying them with chemicals, and attacking the Capitol to keep you in power.

You do not believe in free speech. You believe in speech that praises you, reporters who obey you, networks that protect you, and violence that benefits you. Everything else gets threatened, investigated, excluded, sued, or punished.

Do I see the problem? Yes. You do not understand the difference between registered voters and people who actually voted.

Whitmer did win by 469,870 votes. But your 586,231 figure compares Michigan’s entire registration file, including inactive and outdated registrations, with a Census estimate of the citizen voting-age population. Federal law prevents states from immediately deleting registrations merely because someone has stopped voting or may have moved. Those records remain inactive while officials complete the legally required cancellation process.

Only about 4.5 million people cast ballots in Michigan’s 2022 election, far fewer than the roughly 7.6 million eligible voting-age citizens. You have provided no evidence that 586,231 ineligible people voted, or that even one of them voted.

So, yes, I see the problem. You found two numbers describing completely different things, subtracted one from the other, and mistook your inability to understand voter-registration records for evidence of election fraud.

The Saudis paid Kushner $100 million. They put $2 billion into his firm. They put another $6 billion into LIV Golf, which pays Trump properties to host its tournaments. They signed ten billion dollars in Trump-branded real estate deals in Jeddah and Riyadh. All in just the last few years.

You obviously don’t know the difference between socialism, democratic socialism, and communism. They’re not the same thing, and nothing you described in this video is communism. Communism is government ownership of the means of production and the abolition of private property. Wanting universal healthcare, stronger labor protections, or a larger social safety net is not communism.

You said people who disagree with you should leave America. That’s not how this country works. Americans are free to criticize the government, the country, its leaders, and even its founding principles. That’s protected by the First Amendment. The answer isn’t to run away. It’s to vote, organize, protest, and change the country. That’s literally how our system is designed to work.

I spent 20 years in the military. I didn’t serve so people would only have rights when they agreed with me. I served so every American has the right to turn away from the flag, burn it, wipe greasy hands on it, or drape it over a coffin. You don’t have to like it. I don’t have to like it. But that’s the freedom the Constitution protects.

Democrats don’t want to eliminate federal law enforcement. They want federal law enforcement held accountable. No masks hiding identities during routine operations, body cameras, transparency, and when they murder people in the streets, they should be investigated and tried like anyone else. That’s accountability, not abolition. During the Biden administration, Democrats proposed billions in additional funding for hiring and training police officers through the Safer America Plan.

And the “open borders” line is just political rhetoric. The Democratic Party platform explicitly calls for securing the border, increasing border personnel, reforming the asylum system, expanding legal immigration, and continuing deportations of people who are not legally entitled to remain. The Biden administration also removed millions of noncitizens through removals, returns, and expulsions over four years.

What Democrats insist on is due process because the Constitution applies even when it’s inconvenient. That’s a principle Republicans used to defend.

Maybe you forgot what the Constitution is. It’s that document the convicted felon and adjudicated sexual abuser, you, and the rest of your party wipe your greasy fingers with.

Maybe spend less time calling everything you don’t like “communism” and more time learning what the word actually means.

All the convicted felon did last night was spend 24 minutes lying to the American public, recycling debunked conspiracy theories and deliberately misrepresenting the documents his own administration released.

Those documents do not show that China changed a single vote, hacked a voting machine or affected the outcome of the 2020 election. They show that China obtained voter information, much of which is public or commercially available. Political campaigns, consultants, corporations and foreign governments routinely purchase and analyze voter data. Obtaining voter information is not the same thing as manipulating an election.

The documents also confirm what the intelligence community has long reported: Russia conducted an influence operation designed to hurt President Biden, help the convicted felon and spread misleading allegations through American media and political figures. The convicted felon then repeated and amplified many of those same Russian narratives while conveniently leaving Russia out of last night’s speech.

He lied about the condition of our election system. There is no evidence that any foreign government changed votes, altered vote totals or manipulated the results of the 2016, 2020 or 2024 presidential elections. Audits, recounts, Republican election officials, his own Justice Department and dozens of court proceedings found no outcome-changing fraud in 2020.

He lied about the economy, and claiming that we are “winning big” in his illegal war in Iran is absurd. The ceasefire has collapsed, attacks are escalating, American facilities and allies are being targeted, and commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has nearly stopped.

We had secure elections in 2016, 2020 and 2024. He accepts the elections he wins and attacks the ones he loses. He lost in 2020. He needs to get over it.

Why don’t you take a few minutes and do your actual job, which, in case you have forgotten, is not kissing his ass every minute of every day.

@JDVance, your talking points don’t match reality. This Republican Congress has been one of the least productive in decades by the number of laws enacted, despite controlling the House, Senate, and White House.

Our elections are already secure. It is already illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections. The SAVE America Act doesn’t address a widespread problem. It creates new documentary proof of citizenship requirements that make it harder for eligible American citizens to register to vote. That’s voter suppression, not election security.

As for farmers, the reason they’ve needed repeated bailout programs is because of this administration’s tariff policies. If those tariffs weren’t disrupting export markets and increasing costs, taxpayers wouldn’t be footing the bill to offset the damage.

And attaching the SAVE America Act to a reconciliation bill doesn’t make it eligible for reconciliation. The Byrd Rule limits what can be included, and election policy provisions like the SAVE America Act face serious procedural obstacles because they are primarily policy changes rather than budget measures.

Be careful about trying to rewrite Senate rules a few months before an election. Precedent cuts both ways. If Republicans weaken those rules now, they shouldn’t be surprised when a future Democratic majority uses the same precedent.
