Ini hasil lawatan rasmi PM ke sana atas jemputan Presiden Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Rundingan dijalankan selama beberapa kali di mana PM meyakinkan Serdar bahawa Petronas memainkan peranan penting dalam kemajuan industri minyak dan gas Turkmenistan

Sebagai balasan kepada penyerahan akses telaga minyak dan gas ini. That bird eats monkeys. And it's so rare that most wildlife photographers go their entire careers without a clean shot of one perched.

It's a Black Hawk-Eagle. Brazilians call it the monkey-catching hawk, and they mean that literally. Costa Rica is roughly the size of West Virginia and holds 39 species of daytime birds of prey. Only three of those are hawk-eagles, and even local guides who know the exact tree these birds like will tell you not to count on seeing one.

The bird lives high up in the rainforest canopy. It sits dead still for hours, then drops on monkeys, opossums, big rodents, toucans, and parrots. Its body is only about 2 feet long, but it goes after prey much bigger than itself. The scientific name is Spizaetus tyrannus, which roughly means "tyrant eagle."

Birders usually hear one before they see it. The bird gives off a high whistle that carries through the trees as it soars in mid-morning. Catching it sitting still on a branch like this, out in the open, is the kind of frame pros spend years chasing.

A pair lays one egg per attempt. They only nest once every two or three years. The nest sits about 25 meters up in the canopy, roughly as high as an eight-story building, hidden behind vines and branches. A nine-year study by The Peregrine Fund in Guatemala found just four nests across the whole project.

That rarity built Costa Rica's birding economy. The country banned sport hunting back in 2012, the first in Latin America to do so, and now sells protected rainforest as its main product. US birders alone spent $107 billion on the hobby in 2022, almost six times what the entire NFL pulled in that year. A big chunk of that money flows to countries that can put birds like this on a quiet forest road. So when you see a row of long lenses pointed into a tree in Costa Rica, the bird at the other end of them is probably worth more to the local economy than the cars rolling past it.
