Cheers Peter, Yeah Tthe refilling/seeping of old holes has long been known and considered in the mix. The only thing known with any certainty is that the rate of consumption is well above the rate of replenishment and that the cost of extraction by energy is heading toward parity 1 joule in = 1 joule out. When the Joules in are greater than the Joules we get out is when the product becomes a costly luxury rather than an accessible energy source/surplus.

You could certainly call hydrocarbons a renewable for the process that makes them continue for as long as the conditions and chemistry exist but for our sake and the for time it takes to renew and replenish, they are better defined as a non-renewable, finite resource.

What is true and what is not, is of less concern than what the decision makers determine is true or not from their perspective.

Sadly the wind and solar solution has been driven by alarmist (SOS) Snake Oil Sellers with little Johnny's science projects to flog to the masses as salvations and using every tool to do it like political infiltrations of coordinated SOS corporations like WEF and under a feigned governance of laws and consequences delivered by the UN.

The sky people or people high on their inherited generations of nepotism, assume their positions or power as synonymous with elite intelligence and balanced decision-making to know better than everyone else by vanity and entitlement.

Entitlement and money only provide opportunities for children to learn more without the worries of everyday life, but neither guarantee intelligence; indeed, both guarantee an increased probability that such children will be removed from reality, never grounded in the reality of consequences unto others of their actions.

We saw this during the pandemic, where people in positions of power were placed there via institutional pathways from WEF's School of Young Global Leaders. That level of indignant, ungrounded ignorance and potential motive has been playing into the Great SOS Climate Scam for decades.

The reality is simple enough that the cost of extraction of the World's richest energy surplus is heading toward parity and if we're going to earn our stripes as intelligent beings, then our treatment of the situation is to properly manage not only the transition away from HydroCs but to establish technologically sound solutions that address the problem with future generations in mind and hopedfully drive us toward a better economic world than what existed before HydroCs.

Today's main approach is about technocratic elites whose concern is fulfilling their dream of tinker toy technologies dominating the world at any cost, including at the cost of the world itself. It's the only way to explain how the toxic wind and solar solutions transitioned from temporary band-aids to a full global rollout. Neither the future of people or the environment is their concern as they are mainly driven by beliefs of apocalyptic outcomes in a similar way that religion does.

Anyway, it makes for an interesting world puzzle to peice together and hopefully I get my own less technical solutions onto the discussion board before our elites take us beyond the point of no return and they deliver the end of everything.

The terms were clear. No new military installations within 50 kilometers of the canal. A military standstill. “Stop shooting, start talking.”

That same night, with Soviet help, Egypt began violating it. SA-2 and SA-3 missile batteries were pushed forward into the forbidden zone. New sites were dug. The densest anti-aircraft network the Middle East had ever seen took shape under the cover of a “truce.”

Israel presented the evidence. Washington confirmed the breaches. Nothing was rolled back.

Three years later those advanced missiles helped shield Egypt’s surprise attack on Yom Kippur.

A ceasefire violated before the ink was dry.

A “standstill” that became a launchpad.

One of the biggest propaganda victories in modern history was convincing millions of people that Palestine was basically a frozen civilization: an ancient Arab population sitting in the same villages for a thousand years until, one day, foreign Jews suddenly showed up from Europe.

It’s an astonishingly dishonest version of history.

Palestine was part of the Ottoman Empire. Its population was never frozen in time. People, including Jews, Arabs, and others, migrated throughout the region, settled, moved, intermarried, and crossed boundaries that were nothing like today’s national borders. Arabs came into Palestine from Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and elsewhere, just as people moved out of Palestine and throughout the wider region.

Yes, Arabs lived in Palestine before modern Zionism. So did Jews. And yes, much of the later Arab population boom came from natural increase.

But somehow Palestinian ancestry gets treated as if it comes with a 1,000-year certificate of authenticity, while a Jew whose people originated in that exact land is automatically branded a “foreign settler.”

And the irony is incredible: an Arab can immigrate to America or Europe and immediately call himself American, British, French, or German. Yet a Jew can return to the land where the Jewish people originated, where Jewish civilization was born, and where Jews have maintained a continuous presence for thousands of years, buy land, build a house, and somehow he is still the “foreign settler.”

It’s a political mythology built around one ridiculous rule:

Every Arab is presumed indigenous, no matter where he immigrates to.

Every Jew is presumed foreign.

This feels like a good moment to remember that Ireland got rich not by producing much or innovating anything, but mostly by becoming one of the world's biggest tax havens -- by enabling large companies from other nations to hide their tax revenues from their home nations.

Apple, Microsoft and Google have routed many hundreds of billions of dollars through Ireland to shelter their profits.

Israel, in contrast, got rich by innovating at a colossal scale. It spends 6% of its GDP on R&D, the highest of any nation on Earth. 10% of its workforce works in tech.

That's why those same Apple, Microsoft and Google all built massive R&D centers in Israel, alongside 500 other multinationals. The defense tech is famous, but Israel is also a global powerhouse in water and agriculture. And it draws 10% of global deep-tech investment in medical devices and food R&D.

So a tax-cheat nation that got rich by impoverishing others now refuses a safety system meant to land planes safely in the fog from a nation that actually produces new and useful things for the world.

It's one thing not to buy arms, or to exact political costs for a war you hate. This isn't that. This is just sanctimonious narcissism.

Lebanon is a perfect model of what happens when two civilizations share geography without sharing a political philosophy.

It’s a small country, same language, same food, same weather, same ancient history. No walls. No checkpoints.

But each community, Christian and Muslim, lives behind invisible civilizational lines. They don’t mix in political life, educational life, or social life.

The Muslim areas built "Islamic society".

The result is not “diversity," but dual sovereignty inside one state.

In 2023, the country literally split into two time zones during daylight-saving time, one Muslim and one Christian.

Neighbors who live in the same building had different times.

Lebanon is a failed state because it tried to fit two incompatible political visions under one flag.

The West is repeating Lebanon’s experiment but pretending it will end differently.

There is no historical precedent for that working

A century before the expulsion, Barcelona’s Jews were massacred in an orgy of violence that lasted nearly a week.

News had just arrived that the Jews of Mallorca had been slaughtered. Within hours, a mob of local sailors, laborers, peasants, and about 50 Castilians set fire to the wooden gates of the Jewish Call near what is now Plaça de Sant Jaume.

They looted Jewish houses.
They dragged Jewish families into the streets.
They were given a choice: convert or die. 100 who refused conversion were murdered on the spot while the survivors fled to the Castell Nou. Two days later, the mob managed to storm the fortress and murder another 300 Barcelona Jews. After that, many others finally accepted baptism under the threat of certain death.

One of the great Jewish communities of Spain was effectively erased and never recovered. In total, the 1391 riots saw Spain’s Jewish population reduced by one-third and set the road to the Inquisition and the 1492 expulsion.

Spain today lectures Israel on morality while Jews are again chased through its streets and conspiracy theories blaming the Jewish state for a migrant crisis in Ceuta spread with official indulgence. Some countries have a talent for forgetting their own history while demanding the world remember everyone else’s.
