I pray that America’s leaders will discern what Iran seeks to obscure and conceal.   
Iran cannot be trusted on words alone, and any deal with this regime must include ironclad nuclear restrictions, with equally strong and supportable verification and enforcement.   

Not one penny should be released to this murderous regime so long as it continues to build missiles, support its terrorist proxies, and withhold funds from victims of Iranian terrorism.  

I pray that President Trump has the courage to do what is right and good for our nation and the nations of the free world.

Today, the Embassy of Israel in Ethiopia marked Jerusalem Day, celebrating the anniversary of the reunification of Israel's eternal capital Jerusalem in 1967.

The commemoration also honored the memory of the approximately 4,000 Ethiopian Jews who tragically perished in the Sudanese desert during their journey to fulfill their ancient dream — reaching Jerusalem.

At the event, Embassy Consular Officer Tekebe Eshetu shared his firsthand account of the difficult voyage he and his family took through Sudan in their journey to Israel.

Amb. Dr. Avraham Neguise remarked, “As predicted by the Prophets, we have returned to our land and to Jerusalem."

Jerusalem Day is a national celebration for the people of Israel, and it is also uniquely tied to the special history connecting Israel and Ethiopia. From the time of the Queen of Sheba and until the return home of the Beta Israel, Jerusalem plays a central role in the relations between our countries and peoples 🇮🇱 🇪🇹
