A copy of the Quran desecrated was thrown at a house of a Muslim family with a note saying 'Gift for you'.

It was brought into the house by the family and the Quran was desecrated with bacon and insults against Prophet Muhammad. The family is extremely shaken up by the racially motivated incident.

The incident took place in Acocks Green, Birmingham close to Olton Boulevard on the 18th December at 21:34 hours.

The incident has been reported to the police.
