All right twitter where are the TOS fans, where are the classic Kirk fans, where are the SNW fans, and how can i be friends with all of you, let's go. #startrek#startreksnw#startrektos
@kiranerys42 I really loved SNW. The problem is it got me back into TOS so now I'm losing my mind. The good thing about it is I finally got to finish writing a K/S fic I'd started in 2009!
@Bonibaru @twwings @bironicwastaken I was watching for the sole reason that the fandom was terrific. I know so many people who came from there and have heard so much about the many excellent fanworks. But I gotta say, I really do kinda hate the source material. It really is a disappointment.
I'm watching Stargate: Atlantis, and it's a great primer on how to be morally repugnant. The things the main characters do are so obviously reprehensible, yet the characters themselves have no clue. At this point, I WANT them all to fail. Except Teyla.
That said, I'm super into Silco adopting her. I'm expecting there will be a time skip after this? Into the future where Powder is grown up? And names herself Jinx, another thing which Netflix spoiled for me?/end
Episode 3 of Arcane (spoilers, obviously): still a beautiful show. The magic is lovely, but I liked Deckard-on-potion even more. I really enjoyed how they didn't show the rat in ep 2, and how they didn't show Deckard until Vi was fighting him this ep. The art is just amazing.
I did NOT like Powder's side of the separation. "She's not my sister" came out of the blue. To sell that line, Vi has to do a horrible (yet understandable) thing, such as accuse Powder of killing Vander & friends. That would make Powder feeling deserted comprehensible, at least.
