Due to @Delta canceling flights out of NYC, I contacted @enterprisecares for a rental to drive from NJ to AL to get back in time for work tomorrow. Confirmation received to pick the car up at 8 am today, only to have Enterprise call at 7:55 to cancel my reservation. 😡

@JudyDelta__ I have had two flights canceled today from LGA. I am currently on my way to New Jersey where I have rented a car to drive back home to Birmingham, AL. I’m a nurse who has to be back for work! I know I’m not the only one, but what a mess!!

@Delta cancels trips by sending you a nice text message, but then has unbearable wait times when you try to call to figure out what to do. Stranded in NYC with so many travelers who have to come out of pocket for food and hotels! Vacation costs double because of cancelations!

Mom of my 4 week old patient was really struggling to understand the diagnosis and had questions. I relayed some concerns to the #attending during rounds. Her response: “my only job is to make sure the patient is medically stable.” #healthcare #peds
