Official Statement from Team Imisi

It has come to our attention that a petition has been circulating against Faith regarding the violence and abuse he displayed toward Imisi. We wish to clarify that this petition was not created by Imistars and we are not affiliated with it.

At the same time, we are deeply disturbed by the tactics being employed by Faith’s team, who are now attempting to smear Imisi by tagging her as a “sexual harasser.” This is a shameful and deliberate attempt to whitewash their aggressive and violent contestants’ actions, shift blame, and gaslight the audience, after publicly apologizing for their actions.

We want to be unequivocal: violence against anyone is inexcusable, and so is sexual harassment. Both are serious issues that must never be trivialized, weaponized, or used as a distraction from accountability.

Team Imisi remains committed to standing against abuse in all forms, and we will not allow false narratives to erase the reality of what has taken place.

Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Imistars and to everyone who has looked beyond fan affiliations to condemn abuse and stand in support of Imisi. Your voices matter, and your solidarity means everything.
