PS: During their lunch break, I saw some of the boys playing drums, it brought back memories for me, so I joined them.
I grew up in the Anglican Communion, so I was a member of boys brigade - I played the snare drum like a pro.
There’s a video, I can’t get it now.
Aside the prizes that were won, scholarships were given out to about 10 - 15 students.
All students from Primary 1- 6 went home with a minimum of 5note books and A pen.
I gave them a primary idea of what RAPE and CONSENT means.
Spoke to them about forced marriage and it’s consequences and at the end, we did a little spelling bee competition as you can see in the videos.
The most active student won a mathematical set, her name - Ruth
Meet Alex - he was very eager to contribute. Although he didn’t get it all, but you’d see the zeal and effort he puts in to get the right spelling.
The student on red, Mohammed - very outspoken and I admired that about him.
On Thursday, my self and few of my colleagues represented my organization (@illang_org) at this outreach.
It was fun for me as I tutored the Primary 4b students on the topic - My Sexual Rights.
I made them understand that nobody have the right to touch their private part.
When under an employment relationship and your HR proposes salary payment in other means other than cash, this should be your response.

The Lagos State Traffic Law was signed into Law by the Fashola led administration in 2012.
