Last night, I was honoured and humbled to be celebrated by @reachahand with a star hall of fame award!

It's been a journey from the first peer educators cohort that I was part of to date on relentless advocacy on SRHR and amplifying young voices for a better tomorrow.

This is testament of hardwork, commitment,dedicated service,resilience, impact and above all purpose.

One thing that grants me fulfillment through all this is the ability to re-ignite hope in young people and show them the possibility of their dreams being valid with focus.

To my brother @HumNabimanya, history rightly documents your footprints, thank you for creating a pathway that is uplifting many.

Earlier today I launched the first ever Youth Energy Summit, Uganda. (YES 2025).

Uganda has made significant progress in expanding Energy access,with electrification rates steadily rising and investments in Renewable Energy gaining momentum.
We have abundant resources such as Hydropower,wind,solar,geothermal, nuclear and biomass waiting to be harnessed sustainabily and inclusively.

With all this the task ahead remains enormous as majority of Ugandans still lack access to electricity and many rely on traditional cooking methods that are pollutant and pose risks to their health, environment and productivity.

Together we can create an Energy future that is only sustainability but also just, equitable, inclusive and fuelled by our own solutions.

It is time for the young people to champion our Energy Transition Plan.
