I don't understand how people can be upset playing a female character in the god of war games (or others)? I'm fairly certain the same people who are complaining are sl*tmogging their girl toons in any MMO.

Judge the game for the story, combat, etc - not who you're playing as.

I think the part I love most about DnD, is watching the realizations / thoughts of “hell yes” or “oh nooooo” go across peoples faces alongside the expansion of character arcs. The emotions feel so raw and real.
