Some of the apparent targets included:
👀 Dame Dash — Hov Said “ Niggas Teeth Is Tumbling out their mouth but somehow I done it.”
👀 Oschino — Hov appeared to take a direct shot at his stutter, rapping:
“That nut-ass n*** still stuttering.”*
👀 Jaguar Wright — Jay seemingly responded to her ongoing allegations and comments about him, saying:
“That lady back on the stuff, she sound like she in love with him.” And even blamed QuestLove for introducing them
👀 Drake — Hov also appeared to respond to Drake’s recent “the jig is up” line from his No. 1 hit “Janice STFU,” rapping:
“My next update, the jig is up. N***, I’m up 10. Wrong chart, champ. You got to look up again. N***s look up to Hov. I never looked up to them.”
👀 Nicki Minaj — Fans believe several bars may have been aimed in Nicki’s direction, though no direct name was mentioned.
👀 Industry Figures & Media Personalities — Jay-Z also referenced publishing deals, contracts, government rumors, wealth, power, and what he views as coordinated attacks against his reputation.
One of the most talked-about sections came when he rapped:
🗣️ “A rapper can’t be my opps. I got MAGA Republicans. Them shots came from the very top of the government.”
The freestyle was packed with subliminals, direct responses, and reminders of his status in the industry, making it one of the most aggressive public statements we’ve heard from Hov in years.
What do y’all think?
Did Jay-Z clear the air, send warnings, or just add more fuel to the fire? 🤔
