@Charalanahzard I give her space to mom me still, comment and visit me as often as she can to “fix” my place. She knows I can handle anything at this point, but she still likes feeling like a mom. I make time to take her out when I’m around and and get the things she won’t get for herself.
@Charalanahzard My mom got diagnosed with ovarian cancer when I was 17 and entering college. Now, I’m in my doctoral program and living across the country. Honestly, therapy helped a lot just to comes to terms with it personally. Loved ones too. She has a friend group to walk dogs. 1/2
Got feedback at multiple points in my master’s history program from a Professor that described my writing as “not graduate level” and “failed to meet expectations for the program.” I’m committed to a PhD history Brown this fall.

My 3 year old self in caribou skin.
Not only is it very warm, but it is also a floater.
During the spring, there are many cracks on the sea ice. Caribou skin has saved my life more than once.
Inuit really know how to survive in any environment 🧡🧡
