Ribs and gentlemen, we got another one on deck:

@EthanWayne2001@Alex_Ortodoxie Fr. Stephen didn’t say you called him that. He said people have. You are a subversive and 99% of your posts are just shitting on clergy and lay people. You throw stones at him and then whine like a woman when he wants to throw them back at you.
Imagine having to stand in front of Christ on judgement day and having to explain to Him why you called His mother a filthy whore. I can’t begin to comprehend how terrified I would be in that moment.
@civilibilly@unifiedprolife Imagine having to stand in front of Christ on judgement day and having to explain to Him why you called His mother a whore. I’m not sure I can fully comprehend how terrified I would be.
@DissidentFrau My spiritual father, a clergyman, told me one time to “stop being a pussy” when I went to him for advice on a situation. lol I deserved that it and I’m glad he said it.
After watching @Alex_Ortodoxie debate last night, it’s clear to see why people like @JayDyer and more are losing interest in religious debate. It’s almost entirely untrained debaters.
As a result, the trained debater has to spend an insane amount of time teaching their unskilled opponents as to what their own arguments entail. And when they do, they still don’t get it.
Now, even though this results in easy wins as far as the polling goes, the skilled winner is still left unsatisfied that a more substantive conversation never developed - because that is why they got into this in the first place.
No shade on MDD though. Excellent moderation and formatting.
But this debate is a core example. Alex, handled it with skill and patience.

Most likely excommunicate the guy which would leave him unable to partake of the Eucharist. What else would they be able to do?
If he confessed this before being arrested the priest would not say the prayer of absolution and most likely take the kid, himself, to the police station to turn himself in.
@patristicpill@JPuncut You know what? I will agree with him. I think he does feel the “Pentecostal spirit”. Because whatever spirit is in Pentecostals is probably not the Holy Spirit.
I get married in a few days and I would ask that you say a special prayer for my fiancée and I. We truly wish for our marriage to honor God as much it possibly can.
