In Matthew 5:9, Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” There’s a reason God calls us to live in peace. Don’t let people pull you out of character or block your blessings. Ask God to remove the urge to get revenge. Let go of the mindset that you must hurt those who hurt you. Focus on protecting your peace and letting God fight your battles. It’s hard, but being the bigger person and keeping your eyes on God is worth it in the end.q
