Honour the people of your heart/mind
Something I started implementing last year was making Dua for people as and when they cross my consciousness and it’s been soo grounding.
Friends, loved ones, people you no longer speak to or did you wrong, those we’ve lost…
all of them.

adulthood is constantly learning more about the people you’ve thought you mastered by now. i guess with time comes new opportunities to see them in different lights and it’s mostly a privilege. how boring would it be if we were stagnant beings? 💌
There’s something so beautiful about honouring those who cross your mind/heart with dua. Not my loved ones because they’re in my duas daily. I’m talking friends who drifted away, strangers you’ve never met but feel drawn to, even those who wronged you but you forgave in silence.

My rizq comes from the amazing people around me. The love I have is from Allah, and the goodness others see in me is His protection. I believe that wholeheartedly.
So grateful for all the smiles, laughs, hugs and happy tears exchanged.
sometimes we spend so much time focusing on finding romantic soulmates when in front of you could’ve been a soulmate in the form of a good and righteous friend. invest time in your fruitful platonic friendships, they truly bring you so much balance and happiness in life.
i will say this until the end of time, we need more female scholarship, we need invest, encourage and support sisters in learning this deen so they can teach it. As long as the disparity with female scholarship vs brothers continue to persist so will crimes like this.
My father always told me: "If you want to go for a run, go for a run, don't look for company. Sooner or later, on your fifth run or your twentieth, likeminded people will find you themselves." And only recently have I realized that this principle works everywhere.

It’s okay that the things that make you happy change.
The places, people, things and experiences.
It’s recognizing that what you used to think was your favourite, no longer brings you joy presently as much as it remind you of old joys.
