@dequtupa well it was reported on the bug tracker but declared "working as intended". I guess a lot of people don't think it should work this way and incorrectly assume it's a bug.
At this point more players would use the difference between QC and non QC pistons than there are players that use the difference between "cracked polished blackstone bricks" and "polished blackstone bricks". So many ideas for new pistons out there. Time to add some.
MrRoboticWarfare made an explanation video on the vex converter noteblock setup that was shown in the last skyblock episode. In case you're interested check it out here:

@Vecet You can make a flying machine that follows a path and attach a duper to it. that's the way to go. I actually wanted to do that once, but never got around doing it.
Sorry for the lack of videos lately. Been really ill (some flu, corona test was negative) the last 6 days and couldn't do much besides staying in bed. I'm doing better, but I'll need a couple more days to get to full strength.
@RobDukeOfficial @RiZar_0 Given Mojang's track record of not considering meta changing things and then taking them back after months like recently sculk catalysts dropping 20 xp I'd argue I have the better feeling what was reasonably considered.
I could have started skyblock with bamboo instead of trees and it would have been definitely easier this way, just to put it into perspective that this definitely changes the meta.
@RobDukeOfficial @RiZar_0 My point wasn't even the specific meta change in skyblock or in general. I just wanted to point out that it's a huge change that the best way to get wood isn't farming trees anymore. It just seemed like this wasn't really considered, which is surprising.
@standen_ben Who is talking about automatic tree farms? It's definitely a huge change if the best way to get wood isn't farming trees anymore. I feel like it would have been better if bamboo wood would have stayed decorational and couldn't be used to craft pistons, chests, tools etc.
Mojang say they carefully evaluate if new features take away anything from existing gameplay and make tree farming for non decorative materials basically obsolete in the next update 🤔
@nekonyakun that's why I wrote non decorative. Everyone that doesn't care about building doesn't need to punch wood at all anymore if they start in a jungle biome. Definitely something that is worth talking about.
@_Dert_ @Walls171 Definitely feels a bit weird if the best food is the easiest to farm instead of the hardest like before. Can't really agree that it doesn't matter if there's no good reward tp effort ratio anymore
@Walls171 @JohnTHolbrook1 Could also ask why make things trivial for the try hard nerds if the common players aren't affected by it anyway? There was a nice progression in the food system before. Best food was hardest to farm. Now the best food is the easiest to farm. Doesn't sound like good gameplay to me
