football being associated with wine and a semester abroad, and not random kids finding a ball on the street and having the time of their lives is insane to me
hm but did you consider there were 2 guys who worked at the victoria secret in the mall when i was growing up and they were so bad at their jobs every high school girl knew their shifts were heist time
I have a story relating to this.
I used to use Flo, in 2020 I started seeing ads *everywhere* for baby stuff. Turns out I hadn't updated the app for a few months, it told loads of advertisers I was pregnant. It fuelled my interest in following data sharing trails.
The Tartan Army will leave an unforgettable legacy in our Providence community with this $10,000 donation to Hasbro Children’s Hospital — the largest donation the Tartan Army has ever made in its 23-year history.
I told a Marvel focus group it would be fine with everyone if Spider-Man didn’t feel guilty about skimming a few grand off of a bank robbery every now and then so he could afford things like a new phone and DoorDash. They told me I understood Spider-Man better than anybody.
actually it's pretty common for poor people to have expensive things. it's likely “cheaper” for peter to buy an expensive phone on a payment plan with no down payment rather than buying a second hand phone outright. it's how a lot of people get trapped in a debt cycle.
Boston and Glasgow are becoming official partners.
Mayor Michelle Wu announced plans for a new partnership between the two cities, building on historic ties and the goodwill created by the 2026 World Cup.

The replies to this are unsurprising. Nobody gives a single flying fuck about mental health, the effects abusers have on people long term, what this could mean moving forward for the organization, etc. Fans concerns are valid. You can be a good coach AND good person.
i feel just really heartbroken for the players who came out and spoke up against him when they hadn’t before, they had the strength to try to protect their fellow players and team staff and as usual the league spits in their face
people dismissing this bc they don't know the player are awful. of course the worst of babcock was reserved for the fringe guys and such, because they were the ones he could freely abuse without much pushback. it's still abuse when it's towards a guy with a point every 10 games
