@the_tris_frantz@reddit_lies >The US made this game
No. A private company made this game, just like some random blogger might write a post condemning or glorifying North Korea. Nobody is stopping a private company in the US from making a game glorifying North Korea either. You could be the first!
@XiWellWisher@howardraven95@caffeine_me_now It’s also worth adding that, in this context, I am neither criticizing nor praising China. I am simply stating the fact that it currently operates under a capitalist model of economy, not a post-capitalist one.
@XiWellWisher@howardraven95@caffeine_me_now Calling China a socialist country when its workers still operate under a capitalist labor system, with longer working hours, fewer labor protections and no independent unions, is strange to say the least.
@XiWellWisher@howardraven95@caffeine_me_now Chinese workers with 1-10 years of work experience are legally entitled to only 5 days of paid annual leave, compared to a minimum of 4 weeks in the EU. On top of that, Chinese workers aren’t even allowed to form independent trade unions outside the state-controlled federation.
@homocommunism@caffeine_me_now > The oppression the LGBTQ experience cannot be eliminated under capitalism
Why do you think that? The socialist Soviet Union was more homophobic than modern capitalist Germany.
@Nah_zuna@ByliteGroyper@AezzieUwU So you justify the student uprising in Tianmen Square in China and condemn the brutal actions of China's authoritarian authorities in dispersing it? Or is this something else entirely?
@bsZk6@n3ctar1el Then show me these starving French people. Can you? You claim that a bunch of metal is far more important to them, but I don’t see any of the starving French people you’re so eager to defend.
@saxoomaa@gentilturbulent And what exactly were young people in France so upset about? Did their parents refuse to buy them a PlayStation 5 or an iPhone 17? Or were they forced to do their homework?
@Na_Fura@Rekounter_back And how exactly will destroying other people's property "help future generations"?
France has free higher education, which even "socialist" China doesn't have. France spends twice its GDP on the public sector as China.
@LisaA311@JobuVirgil You simultaneously support China, which has some of the harshest anti-immigration policies in the world (it's nearly impossible to obtain citizenship and permanent residency, unlike in the US or EU countries), but you also support mass migration to Western countries. How so?
