@sokudaoi @SirL0ser Her argument still works as a critique. If Asgore wanted to free everyone, then he would have done exactly as she said. He was too cowardly to commit to or abolish his declaration. Instead, he got stuck in indecision and ended up with both 6 deaths & a warhungry trapped people.

@aceofdarts68 We are playing as Kris. "You" in narration means "Kris" 99% of the time, and "Kris" can mostly also be read as "You." It's very rare when the game makes a distinction. It's Kris's SOUL in both instances.

Battles are pretty inconsistent with narration perspective.

@wavyformer Chara's deal with him is explainable. Snowdrake is a special monster like Shyren, but technically reencounterable, so this dialogue makes sure you end up killing him.

The real question is what the fuck was Frisk's deal with Snowdrake. Most unhinged ACT in the game.

@cherriinie All of this is being done as a way to allude to or reference Deltarune's plot & character dynamics, which is Clamgirl's purpose as a fun event.

That line could have potential double meanings too, but I think this is the most straightforward interpretation.

@cherriinie The rest of her dialogue focuses on fate a lot. With that in mind, "in life's grand scheme" as a phrase seems to be alluding to fate as well.

The dialogue then reads as Clamgirl saying that the protagonist may have ended up in the Underground because they are fated to meet Suzy

@_Im__Lucas @cherriinie The dialogue in question has been in the game since 2016. It was added in 1.001 (while Clamgirl herself has been in the game since release). Gonerclam's addition and the Switch port as a whole were in 2018.

Sans always says "draw your friends on here" on the normal route, regardless of whether you get the Ralsei drawing.

You can very easily experience this via no-save data chapter 5 start.

@Elia_0_ @Kirwithdot The problem is that Susie does not always draw Ralsei. She only does so if you did a specific cutscene in ch3 or you are on the Weird Route.

Meaning in the normal route, Susie can draw as little as two people or at most 4 people, depending on how you interpret Sans's ask.

@glubo11 I actually don't think they would. Cookie Clicker has no definitive "End," and I feel like that's important to them. Their desire for the absolute is tied to completionism as a concept (Doing everything worthwhile there is to do).

This is also why they'd hate Live Service games.

@AspirinJuice425 Could have been that they weren't with the family that long or that it was just a 'foster child'-esque relationship. Or maybe Chara was the one who had reservations with it.

Might also just be intentionally vague to leave it up to interpretation or something.
