I was always an advocate for therapy but I finally understand how beneficial and life changing it can be.
Doesn’t matter how big or small of an issue is that you’re dealing with; just being able to say things out loud without any judgement is ah-mazing!

How fucking nice is it to be able to talk about yourself, uninterrupted, while the other person’s just listening to you, reading between the lines, asking you questions that make you go “woah” and validating your feelings 😭
Having to unlearn habits passed down from generations of trauma is how you make real change in your life and your future family’s life. It’s hard but it’s worth it and it starts with you.
Last night I walked into the gym, saw this girl I used to work with (who now lives in my building) on the elliptical. My immediate reaction was: turn around, leave.

In 2022, I trained my brain to not stress out about things I can’t control. This ultimately has let me to worry significantly less, sleep better & be more productive with my time/energy. As long as your friends & fam are healthy & have a roof above their heads, why stress?
