והייתה לי הזכות לטוס עם נבחרת ישראל ולייצג את המדינה שלנו.

אני יכול לומר בגאווה גדולה שיש לנו את הנבחרת הטובה ביותר באירופה. זכיתי במדליית הזהב, ובפעם הראשונה בכל קריירת הלחימה שלי עמדתי על הפודיום ושמעתי את “התקווה” מתנגנת לכבודי.
זו הייתה תחושה עוצמתית ומרגשת שקשה לתאר במילים. אחרי כל מה שמדינת ישראל עברה ועדיין עוברת, לעמוד על במה באירופה כשדגל ישראל מונף מעליי, זו זכות עצומה שלא אשכח לעולם.

רגע מרגש לא פחות היה לראות את הבן שלי, אלעד, עולה גם הוא על הפודיום וזוכה במדליית הארד. אין גאווה גדולה יותר מאב שרואה את בנו מגשים את עצמו ומביא כבוד למדינה.

הנבחרת שלנו סיימה את האליפות עם מספר המדליות הגבוה ביותר מבין כל המדינות המשתתפות. זהו הישג אדיר שמוכיח את העבודה הקשה, ההתמדה, הרוח והלב של כל אחד ואחת מהלוחמים והלוחמות.

אנחנו צריכים להיות גאים שיש לנו איגוד ג’יו ג’יטסו בישראל שפועל ללא הפסקה למען הילדים, הנוער, הבוגרים והוותיקים, ונותן לכולם את ההזדמנות לייצג את מדינת ישראל בכבוד. בזכות ההשקעה, המקצועיות והחזון, האיגוד מוביל את הענף להישגים חסרי תקדים ומביא את ספורט הג’יו ג’יטסו בישראל לממדים עצומים.
