17-year-old Jonathan Lewis Jr. was b—aten to d—ath by a group of teenagers in an alley near Rancho High School in Las Vegas after a dispute involving a stolen vape pen and a pair of wireless headphones.

On November 1, 2023, Lewis accompanied a friend to the alley, where a f—ght had been arranged. He was reportedly trying to stand up for his friend when a group of around 10 teens surrounded him, kn—cked him to the ground, and repeatedly p—nched, k—cked, and st—mped on him.

Lewis suffered severe head injuries and was placed on life support before being declared brain-d—ad on November 7, 2023. Several teenagers were arrested in connection with the att—k.
