i have to get in thousands of dollars of debt at the ripe age of 18 to go to university and that won't even get me a job... But at least i'm white and I can vote for the lesser of two evils!!!
School quality, tuition costs, and healthcare costs are way worse in the US but you don’t see us burning down historical buildings. When will the French learn there’s such a thing as a nonviolent general strike?
Absolute dumbfuck bot, those people are there because the french stole everything from their countries. And now they are even fucking everyone in France. French people should be greatful for immigrants fighting for their rights.
Grimes being a popstar and gaggying the gays is obviously more important that her previous relationship to one of the greatest evil on earth. And obviously north korea bad, america and singapore good and 100% not capitalism propaganda/imperialism 😍
Obviously grimes is trash for procreating and having a relationship with #him. And every single opinion swiftologist has about kpop is racist and the "north korea propaganda" bs as if he wasn't from fuckass singapore. 2 Liberals maximazing their joined liberal brainrot
And the worst part is that she does not even have bad numbers... Her videos are doing well despite people not watching videos anymore and her songs are charting with her being out of the public eye... Anyway, she literally can't be #1 forever and that doesn't mean she failing
did y’all genuinely like iu as iu, or just iu the chart monster? she already said years ago that she’d be okay with eventually coming down from the peak, but y’all keep acting like evry underperforming song must be edam’ fault. maybe it’s time to accept that she doesn’t have to be a chart monster forever.
at some point, you have to accept that an artist’s career cannot be measured solely by how high a song debuts, how long it stays on the chart, or whether it lives up to the numbers of her biggest hits. especially for someone who has already spent years at the very top. coming down from that peak is not some kind of failure. it’s simply what happens when an artist has been at the top for long enough.
an artist’s worth doesn’t suddenly diminish just because the numbers do. a song doesn’t become less meaningful because it didn’t reach 1, and iu doesn’t become less of an artist because one release doesn’t perform the way her biggest hits did.
and hnestly, i think some of you need to stop treating her like your personal pride project. you don’t have to constantly prove that iu is still the biggest, the most successful, or the most dominant artist in the room just so you can feel validated as a fan. her achievements are hers. you don’t need to turn every chart result into a reflection of your own pride.
sometimes the audience changes, sometimes the music changes, sometimes the market changes, and sometimes a song simply doesn’t resonate with as many people. not every outcome needs a scapegoat, and not every decline needs to be explained away by blaming edsm.
maybe supporting iu as an artist meanns being able to appreciate her beyond the version of iu who was constantly breaking records. she’s allowed to make music that doesn’t dominate the charts. she’s allowed to have a different kind of career at this stage.
if you can’t accept that and only want to stan her when she’s winning, then maybe you need to ask yourself what exactly you’re a fan of. because if the chart monster is the only version of iu you can support, maybe you simply don’t like iu as much as you like what her success represents.
You can clearly see the decline of K-pop... Before, more than 10 songs would get PAK in a year. Now, the year is almost over and only 3 songs have achieved PAK.
Either it's become harder to get a PAK or there are no more listeners
