After his wife passed away, Ghanshyam raised his four children: 2 sons and 2 daughters on his own. He worked hard running a cycle tyre and tube business and did everything he could to give his children a better life. He had even distributed his property and assets among them.
In his old age, Ghanshyam was living at the ‘Apna Ghar’ old age home in Bhopal. When he passed away at the age of 72, his body remained there for 2 days while the old age home tried to contact his family.
But sadly, none of his 4 children came to perform his last rites.
His children gave different reasons, including difficulties in getting train or bus tickets. Later, they asked the old age home to arrange the funeral.
According to the old age home’s management, one daughter mentioned a property dispute, while one son reportedly questioned what their father had done for them.
The man who had spent his entire life raising his children was left alone even in death.
With no family member coming forward, the old age home, with the help of the police, finally arranged Ghanshyam’s last rites.
He raised 4 children, gave them everything he had, and in the end, he had no one beside him.
One thing I want to say that parents should think very carefully before transferring their entire property or life savings to their children. A hard truth every parent should remember that giving your children everything does not guarantee they will stand by you when you need them. So love them, support them, but don’t surrender your financial independence. Your property should protect you in your old age, not become the price you pay for being abandoned.
Watched this ongoing debate and the contrast was almost comical. The political representatives were given every opportunity to explain, with some intellectual honesty, why reservation should not even be relooked at, yet they struggled to put forward a coherent argument beyond familiar political talking points.
Meanwhile, @ARanganathan72 , @neha_laldas and @talk2anuradha brought exactly what a serious debate needs clarity, facts, composure and the willingness to interrogate uncomfortable questions without hiding behind slogans.
The political panel looked completely outclassed. When three people can calmly dismantle arguments while the elected representatives keep circling back to rhetoric, you know the problem isn't the complexity of the subject it's the poverty of the argument.
Reservation is far too important to be treated as a political sacred cow. It deserves an honest conversation about representation, equity, outcomes and whether the existing framework is achieving its intended purpose.
If the best defence available is outrage instead of reasoning, perhaps the debate has already made its point.
Frankly, this was waiting to happen since DY Chandrachud J’s pronouncement on abortion which swung to the extreme Radical Left.
The Church has always been pro-life and anti-abortion.
For all the libbie and leftie support for Church, the Church never accepted ‘My Body, My Choice’.

What nonsense is this!
A historic move: President Droupadi Murmu has given assent to the Bill granting Vande Mataram the same legal protection as the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana.
Deliberately stopping the National Song or disrupting its singing can now attract up to 3 years in prison, a fine, or both.
Vande Mataram is now protected by law. 🇮🇳

A proud day for all Malayalees. A significant milestone in our history!
The Lok Sabha has passed the Kerala (Alteration of Name) Bill, 2026, honouring the thousands of years of heritage, tradition, and culture that Keralam represents.
Thank you, PM @narendramodi ji and Home Minister @AmitShah ji, for respecting the voice and sentiment of Malayalees.
But Keralam is more than just a name. As I wrote to PM Modi ji earlier this year, a state deeply rooted in its civilisational history is our strongest defence against the radical elements trying to divide our society on religious lines.
I hope this historic moment will inspire all parties to work together in building a #VikasitaKeralam and #SurakshitaKeralam - a state where Malayalees of all religions can have their faith and traditions respected and protected.
Let's build a #VikasitaKeralam that is proud of its past, confident in its future, and forever united.

@blsanthosh@INCIndia Sadly the speaker of the house lacks courage to throw these disrespectful and disrupting MPs out. God save our country from such timid leaders.
Two Brahmins, Rajat Shukla & Nihal Shukla, died inside a septic tank in Prayagraj today, yet these people still claim GCs are privileged.
Time to expose these fake narratives, one by one.
The sheer aggression and fearlessness with which she speaks is exactly what all of us have been feeling.
Every GC is now fed up with hearing these fabricated stories of oppression. How much more are we expected to tolerate? Thank you for speaking for all of us, and thank you for tearing their propaganda apart
A non-bailable warrant was issued against Prakash Raj by the court for having multiple Voter IDs in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Telangana
He reportedly skipped court summons twice.
People like them then blame the ECI for conducting SIR and deleting his extra voter cards
Tamil Nadu Speaker JCD Prabhakar is free to be anti-abortion. But the Speaker’s chair isn’t.
Abortion is a legal reproductive right in India. Personal belief is personal. Constitutional office represents everyone.
My take:
