A Hindu youth Kartik was converted to Islam after falling in love with a Muslim girl in Shamli, UP.

The girl used Islamic sorcery methods, lived with him, made conversion a condition for nikah. Kartik read the kalma, converted and now offers namaz.

She is now threatening his mother with life threats and to transfer 35 bigha land in her name.

Four recent cases. Four awareness lessons.

1. Ujjain Muharram procession case: Reports say that during a Muharram procession in Ujjain, a van was lifted with a crane and firecrackers were used for a dangerous stunt. Police have registered an FIR over public safety concerns.

2. Surat Ajmer minor girl case: Reports say a 12-year-old girl was allegedly lured through Instagram and taken from Surat to Ajmer. The accused has been arrested under POCSO, kidnapping and child protection-related charges.

3. Meerut child safety case: Local reports say a 40-year-old man allegedly took a 5 to 6-year-old girl to an isolated place. Locals caught the accused and police arrested him. The case is being investigated under serious child protection-related charges.

4. Kota digital exploitation case: In Kota, serious allegations include obscene digital content, targeting women, conversion angle and Pakistan link. But police say conversion and Pakistan link are not confirmed so far. The accused has been arrested and investigation is ongoing.

Final punishment will be decided by the court. Right now, these cases are at FIR, arrest and investigation stage.

Notorious Islamic cleric Mian Mithu's name has surfaced in countless cases involving Hindu girls in Sindh. 7-year-old Sapna was one of them.
