I have done this for every girl and woman who is punished more harshly..through sexual assault..and traumatized for life simply for being a girl and having a voice.

There are police protocols for dealing with rioters, peaceful protesters, women, and minors. Nowhere do those protocols say that an officer should try to jab the pointed end of a lathi into a young woman who's running away with her back turned.

I'll be following up on this complaint every single day.

This happened right in front of my eyes. In the chaos, we were all running and couldn't take the girl's name or contact details. As her sister, I have filed this complaint on her behalf.

If anyone knows her, or if you're reading this, please, please reach out. I promise your identity will remain confidential.

Do this for your fellow girls. No woman should ever have to go through something like this again.
