Despite the killings and chemical attacks on schoolgirls, the number of women who break forced hijab laws across Iran has increased. The protests have taken a different form; civil disobedience by thousands of women & protesting against executions.

She was arrested, tortured and imprisoned, Her crime--protesting wearing the mandatory hijab! This is a picture of the courageous Sepideh Rashno. By publishing this picture without the hijab, she wrote that she was banned from attending university. Sepideh said, "We are standing. The only thing more beautiful than freedom itself is standing for "freedom".

Remarkable video: An Islamist morality police in Mashhad, Iran pours yogurt over the heads of two women for not wearing hejab.
In a previous era the shopkeeper may have been afraid to intervene against government thugs, but times have changed in Iran.
Iranian authorities are after these girls to arrest them for the crime of dancing in international women’s day.
In the eyes of Islamic republic, these girls are master criminals for showing their hair, happiness and dancing. That is why school girls are being the target of chemical attacks. Be our voice and Let’s end gender apartheid regime together.

@6Pillars@TarekFatah I’ve seen videos & am so amazed at these young women’s courage. These old men think locking women down will keep us from speaking out. But the time has clearly come when women are breaking these chains & claiming what’s rightfully theirs!
How I wish we could reverse the roles. It would be a delightful sight to see a woman whip an ugly bearded Mullah and then land a kick or a knee where it truly hurts.
