I love Zerodha and will stick to it.

But I think (in the absence of Nithin's reply to similar thing I mentioned as a reply to his post) that zerodha sees advertising as somehow "gaming the system" since it's "inorganic".

Many believe that "if our product is good, people will come to it" or a variation of "Good products don't need to advertise". Which is true. But not always. And surely not forever.

Distribution is a lot about awareness and advertising is awareness as well. If it's the newer/younger gen from tier 2/3 that's not coming to Z I think it's because their mindspace is already taken up by someone else. Maybe they don't even know zerodha exists and/or why is it better?

We love good ads. We detest spammy/scammy ads. Ads aren't evil, they are a tool. Like a wrench. A wrench can be used to fix the plumbing in your house, or it can be used to shake someone down for their wallet. Plumbers don't stop using wrenches and try to fix pipes with their bare hands because of this.

Use ads wisely, and ethically. We need Zerodha to grow and many more Zerodhas to take inspiration from it.

If you are a job seeker, please follow these steps.

- Apply for jobs, which are posted recently.
- Be active, not passive.
- Do not wait for recruiters to call you.

Early bird gets the worm.
If you are an early applicant, you catch the attention of the recruiter who posted the job.

As soon as a job gets posted, recruiter is 'looking' for applicants, and then your application gets buried in a sea of resumes in the recruiters inbox.

Where do you scan for jobs.
Everywhere. The internet is yours to use.

- Linkedin
- Popular Job Portals [ Important ].
- Off beat Job Forums [ start building a list today ].
- Referral networks.
- Communities and groups you belong to.

Do this everyday.

Applying for jobs is your job, when you are looking for opportunities.
Consistency compounds.

Doing this daily builds serious momentum.
You’re not waiting then, you’re moving.
