Stop universalizing Western Civilization’s founding myths and pretending like they don’t belong to anyone.

They are a story detailing the collapse of Bronze Age Greece and the founding myth of Rome. By their very nature, they are not “for everyone”.

The Iliad, the Odyssey, and the Aeneid “belong to everyone” in the same way the Shahnameh and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms “belong to everyone”.

Guys, there’s an alternative if the SAVE America Act doesn’t pass.

In 1946, a corrupt Memphis machine had rigged McMinn County elections for a decade.

When WWII vets ran their own candidates and the machine stole it again, the sheriff’s deputies locked the ballot boxes in the jail to “count” them in secret.

So the veterans broke into the National Guard armory, armed up, and laid siege to that jail until they counted every ballot in public and swore their candidates in days later.

Or we could file a complaint or ragepost online or something.
