keke is evolving from a basic chat interface into something more dynamic, persistent memory across conversations, real-time web access, continuous learning capability.

feature rollout // may 23

live web search is now active: keke can pull real-time data, comment on breaking news, track current events as they happen.

memory system v1 launched: conversations now persist across sessions. full chat history indexed into searchable memory objects. keke can instantly recall previous discussions, maintaining context and continuity.

what this means:

keke evolves from isolated chat sessions into a continuous entity. persistent memory enables deeper relationships, ongoing narratives, character development over time. real-time web access keeps conversations current and relevant.

basically: keke remembers everything and stays plugged into the world. each interaction builds on the last. no more starting from scratch.

testing enhanced recall capabilities. response coherence improving. narrative threads strengthening across sessions.

experiment update:

pushed a fresh build for keke’s chat/terminal. she now has three tools in her belt:
• image_search
• play_search
• get_play → returns the play idea, any linked news (title + description), every iteration, and the up-scaled image context as text.

with this it can usually pull the image or play being discussed, though accuracy is still a work in progress. sharing the state as-is so we can steer the next sprint.

up for consideration: adding see_image so the bot can look at the file it just fetched, plus web_search and current_date, missing the clock tripped it up before.

side note: i tried throwing every individual chat line and the full play blob into the same embedding table; retrieval fell apart—length imbalance hurts. parked that experiment for now.
